Frédérique has developed an in-depth understanding of the complex issues that can affect community organizations while working as Executive Director of a rare disease patient association. In addition, she has worked in a transdisciplinary laboratory with research interests in the medical, social, legislative, cultural and ethical aspects of genetics and personalized medicine.

Frédérique’s achievements include:
  • Contribution to the establishment of specialized clinics for a rare disease in Quebec,
  • Lobbying to broaden the scope of a regulation affecting access to healthcare services in Quebec (PL 73).
Frédérique holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and pursued graduate studies in Health Sciences.
